What is Mi Cloud?

Mi cloud (which is also known as Xiaomi cloud or Redmi cloud) is digital cloud storage and cloud computing platform which is developed or managed by Xiaomi Corporation. Mi cloud provides many services to sync your data such as contacts, messages, photos, notes, call recordings and many more across multiple devices from anywhere in the world through internet. It’s free for all user (Upto 5GB storage), you just need a Mi account to avail the Mi cloud service.

Contacts

In this feature, you can sync your save contacts in Mi cloud app and access them any time from Mi cloud website and Mi cloud app.

Messages

In this feature, you can backup your all important messages in Mi cloud.

Gallery photos and videos

This feature is same as google photos, you can backup your important photos and videos.

Notes

In this feature, you can manage all your notes and upload the important ones in Mi cloud.

Call Recording

If you want to backup your important conversation, then you can upload that in Mi cloud.

This is the best feature of Mi cloud. In this feature you can track your smartphone, if you lost your smartphone and you can also alarm your mobile, lock your device and erase your all-important data from your lost device.

Mi Cloud Website & Mi Cloud App

Mi cloud is available on both Website and app and you can access your data on both ways.

      Officially, there is no App for Mi cloud in google play store, by default its available in all Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Basically available on all devices which running on MIUI interface.

       

      Mi Cloud login on Xiaomi devices

Step 1: Go to settings in your Xiaomi(Mi) or Redmi device.

Step 2: Created a new Mi account using phone number or email id. If you have already a Mi cloud account, then login directly.

Step 3: After login press continue and then go to Xiaomi cloud and sync or backup your data which you want to upload on Mi cloud.

For all user, only 5GB of storage is free. If your storage is full or you want to backup data more than 5GB, then you want to pay for that according to you need.

Delete and Restore data from Mi cloud

If you want to delete your Mi cloud data like photo, video, messages etc. Simply, go to Mi cloud website and login with same Mi account in which you want to delete your data and after login your account. Select the data which you want to delete and delete them.

If you delete the important data accidentally then no worry you can restore your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your deleted data is completely removed from Xiaomi Cloud and after not possible to restore that data.
